Like open records requests, criminal court records are also available to the public. These documents include arrest and conviction records for individuals in Pierce County, WA. These records will be available based on what court the case is assigned to.

The Clerk of the Superior Court is in charge of Superior Court records, which are records for those cases tried in the superior court. The district court, which tries misdemeanor and traffic cases and smaller civil cases than those in the superior court, is responsible for handling district court case records. Lastly, juvenile court records will, of course, be stored with the juvenile court.

The most common cases people search for are superior court cases, which can be searched online through the LINX site at https://linxonline.co.pierce.wa.us/linxweb/Main.cfm. You can also view current jail roster information (without mugshots). District Courts 1-4 have their records available online through the Washington State Courts website at https://www.courts.wa.gov/.
